Laugh Out Loud!
Life can have its ups and downs. We might find ourselves looking over to that green grass on the other side of the fence. Life can be tough, challenging, exhausting! But....if we can do one thing to immediately boost our mood, it would be to find something, once a day, that really makes us laugh out loud!
A fun prompt from Jenny Matlock over at her wonderful blog. We only had fifty words including the prompt (in bold) to use this week. Click on the button to join the Saturday Centus or view other entries.

Yes indeed. There's usually at least one thing a day that I can find to have a giggle about. It depends really on how we see life, doesn't it? An optimist will mostly see the funny side of things and a pessimist will miss those golden moments presented to them
ReplyDeleteLoved your comment about kids and your accent, too :)
so true, and where I work lets me laugh out loud all the time because the guys I work with are just......ummmmmm...... not the brightess bulbs in the lamp.
ReplyDeleteLovely, well written sentiments. Laughter is the best medicine !
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more.
ReplyDeleteThe grass may be greener... and needs to be mowed more often:)

ReplyDeleteNamaste..........cj
Very good advice, written succinctly.
ReplyDeleteThank you for following me. If you ever want a personal poem written (for, say, a birthday) I'm your man (well, Granny.)
This is so true!
ReplyDeleteThere is no green grass here--only rocks. I miss grass sometimes, but I don't have to mow rocks. Now that's something to laugh about.
ReplyDeleteStarting the day with a good belly laugh always starts my day right. ~Ames
ReplyDeleteat least once a day!!!
ReplyDeleteGah! Your email address isn't linked to your profile. I wanted to let you in on why my post was funny to me and a few others. It really backfired & isn't that important. You're really not missing much, it's just an old game I used to play.
ReplyDeleteWise counsel, and the picture started my day off right!

Never a truer word spoken. Laughter does wonders for the soul and should be practiced daily! It is definitely the best medicine...well, unless you get bitten by a cobra or something. But its still good. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat advice...what will you laugh about today?
ReplyDeleteI usually resort to making fun of my husband - not sure it always works so well for him, however!
Love the idea of finding something to laugh out loud about each day. Well done. laurie
ReplyDeleteWonderful Centus!
ReplyDeletehinder the tremors
I think humor can get you through almost anything. Unless someone tells that you laugh funny. Then when you try to LOL you get all freaked out and it just doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteBut other than that...laughter is always the best medicine.
Cute link! Thank you!
